How long does it take?
The most popular form of data delivery is electronically, as it is e-mailed directly to you. The time frame to receive the data varies from list owner to list owner. It can take anywhere from 24hrs to 5 business days. If you choose to receive a hardcopy of your data by way of CD-ROM or any of the other above mentioned formats, the data will be delivered to you by courier. This can take an additional two business days and may be subject to extra shipping and handling charges.
What if there’s a problem?
All lists come with an accuracy guarantee. The accuracy level varies by list owner, but is typically within the 93 – 99% accuracy range. However from time to time there could be a problem. If a problem occurs with the data you receive we will need to send the bad data back to the list owner so they can verify the problem.
Once the problem has been verified, options to solve the problem may include record replacement, credit or refund for the inaccuracy portion that falls below the list guarantee.
For example – if a list is guaranteed 98% accurate but you find that only 93% of the records are deliverable, then the bad records will need to be sent back to the list owner so they can verify the problem. The list owner will then provide compensation for the 5% difference.
What does it cost?
There is no cost for The List Wiz to research list options, the only cost involved is the cost of the list itself. The cost of a list is dependant on the quantity of records and how many options or ‘selects’ are included. Depending on the list owner, list minimums can range anywhere from one thousand to five thousand. The more selects you add to a campaign, the more specific the records are going to be. This of course increases the list cost, however it also increases your return on investment as you filter out those less likely to respond to your promotion.
What about the operational costs associated with bad lists?
The list industry typically does not reimburse for any expenses incurred other than the list itself.
Any costs such as postage, printing or labour will not be reimbursed.
